Houses System

The school believes in training students for leadership and sharing responsibilities. To provide ample opportunities as well as to inculcate healthy spirit of competition among students, the students have been divided into four houses named after eminent Vedas.

Each house is mentored by a set of teachers. Together they act as tutors for the students of their House. They meet regularly to discuss the pupil’s progress and problems. They act as a vital link in the system acting as friends, advisors and confidants. Various Inter-House competitions in co-curricular and sports activities are organised to give necessary exposure to students for their all round development

Rigveda: The oldest Veda, comprising hymns praising deities, foundational to Hindu rituals, spirituality, and ancient Indian culture, offering profound insights into early religious practices and societal values.

Samaveda: Focuses on melodies and chants used in rituals, integrating music with spirituality. It enhances the emotional expression of Vedic hymns, crucial for ceremonial and devotional practices.

Yajurveda: Contains detailed instructions for performing rituals and sacrifices. It emphasizes precision and structure in religious ceremonies, essential for spiritual discipline and maintaining tradition.

Atharvaveda: Addresses practical aspects of daily life, including healing, magic, and rituals. It combines spiritual wisdom with practical guidance, promoting overall well-being and protection in ancient Indian society.
